Excuse me. I am a male with age of 31. I had vaginal intercourse with a prostitute 15days ago without condom. While the intercourse last only half a minute, because of my drinking too much. Do you think I have much risk of HIV?

this is not "likely" to result in infection...but the ONLY way to know one's status is by testing.you can test at 6-8 weeks post exposure for a good indication of your status but you will need to follow up at 3 months for a conclusive result.

relax...and test.

the CURRENT guideline is 3 months post exposure for a CONCLUSIVE result.
