Hi, I am a male and I met up with a man 4 weeks ago and we ended up rimming each other and sucking each other's penis. I did have anal intercourse, but was wearing a condom.

I met up with him again last Friday and did similar things.

Since this Wednesday I am having all the flu like symptoms, fever, headaches and have pain in my legs. No sore throat.
I am bit worried now about HIV, do you think this are symptoms of an HIV infection? Are there any other symptoms should I look for?

How do I know if this is normal flu or HIV infection?

When is the best time to get tested?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our forum.
Your sexual encounters did not involve any significan HIV risk at all whatsoever and therefore I do not believe that those symptoms would have anything to do with HIV sero-conversion.   
Your symptoms seem to be very non-specific and not typical of acute sero-conversion.  However it is very difficult to know if they are or not unless you are tested.  If you are having symptoms and you get a simple antibody test now and is negative, that would exclude completely that those symptoms were related with HIV.

There is often a difference in the answers given by the docs in the expert forum vs us.  People have to understand that medical professionals and the CDC have a responsibility to be ULTRA conservative when discussing risks.  Therefore, there is a MINUTE "theoretical" risk assigned to oral sex.  If oral sex was TRULY a "real" risk, there would be new cases all the time of HIV being transmitted in this manner.  There absolutely is NOT.  And a "theoretical" risk is VERY different from an actual risk.  The docs have BOTH said time and time again in the expert forum that neither of them, in their combined DECADES of being specialists dealing with HIV have EVER seen a case of HIV as a result of oral sex, nor have they READ any convincing cases.  There is a physiological reason for that.  First, the virus isn't present in the saliva, making infection impossible for the receptive partner (the person receiving oral sex).  Secondly, for the person GIVING oral sex, THEIR saliva contains enzymes that inhibit the virus, should they be exposed to infected genital secretions.  Secondly, again, the virus has been exposed to the air and elements, rendering it inactive in an oral situation.  This debate will continue, but again, for anyone worrying about an oral "exposure"...think of the facts.  If it was truly a risk, there would be newly reported cases ALL the time.

你给的文章太长啦

大致看了下 就是一个人在三个月钱 跟一个性工作者女的发生关系。然后女的帮他口交，大概口交了两次。他也帮女的口交，但是感觉那个女的阴道没流出什么体液。但也是自己的感觉。

当然 提问者还说 他的口腔他不能保证是个非常健康的口腔，因为他刷牙时候有流血的情况。

诸如此类的。。。当中也有带套性jiao 已经中途换套。中间完事了 还用什么漱口水漱口之类的。。。

他问医生是否有风险。

大致是  
先生 我不想信仅仅通过这个事情你会感染艾滋。这种只是极其低的概率，就算这个女的是阳性，你感染的概率也是极其低的。

当然 你可能会感染其他的性别 比如衣原体，淋病，梅毒和疱疹之类的。

美国的专家大多斩钉截铁告诉你 口交无风险 。中国的专家因为懂得中庸之道，清一色的会回答你口交有一定的低风险，有的甚至会说有风险。总之万事留个余地，肯定不会被人骂的、

至于医学这个问题上，你是信老美还是中国专家，这个你自己决定。
但是结果应该不言而喻的吧。

再者，美国和西班牙曾经做过一次实验。
1500个艾滋携带者跟另外1500个健康人口交，口交数次，结果无一人感染。

再给你消除一些恐怖吧，讲出来大家肯定都能明白，就是世界上那么多夫妻中的一方是HIV阳性，但是当另一半去检查的时候，在长期的夫妻生活中，尽然还有 很大一批数量的另一半并没有被感染、这其中可能有从来不带套的，但是大部分肯定是平时带套的。所以没被感染。但是就算这些没被感染，平时坚持用套来避孕的人中，他们夫妻进行前戏的口交时，我想基本上所有的夫妻都不会带个避孕套去口交的吧。。。但是他们的的确确没被感染。


因此。。你明白什么了吧？

国外很多专家认为0风险。
至于国内论坛 顶多也会把他归类为 有一定的低风险吧？怎么也不会把他归类到高风险的呀。
